What is the difference between Single and Double channel?Updated a month ago

Single vs. Double-Channel Vents

Our vents have channels between the center tray and base that direct airflow.

Single-Channel: Our standard, original collection has one airflow passage. This includes all Luxe and Lite models of Wall/Ceiling and Floor Vents.

Double-Channel: Our plus (+) airflow collection, which features two passages for increased airflow. This includes all Luxe+ and Lite+ models of Wall/Ceiling and Floor Vents. In some models and sizes, this contributes to up to 50% more airflow compared to the same size of the standard airflow model. This collection may be recommended by your HVAC specialist for enhanced performance that you HVAC system may need.

You can consult our full list of sizes, models, and their airflow specs here.

You can also compare between different models based on your HVAC needs here.

Tray Interchangeability

Trays from single and double channel models are interchangeable, but only in select sizes. If you may need to consider changing out the tray of your vent from single to double channel, please contact us at [email protected] to see whether it's possible!
