Understanding the Differences Between Our CollectionsUpdated a month ago
At Fittes, we offer four thoughtfully designed collections: Lite, Lite+, Luxe, and Luxe+. Here’s how they differ — and how to choose the right one for your space.
Material
Lite & Lite+: Made from durable ABS plastic, ideal for everyday spaces.
Luxe & Luxe+: Crafted from powder-coated steel for a more premium, architectural finish.
Framed Vs. Flush
All Framed models at Fittes have a 5/8" wide border that sits on top of the wall or flooring material.
All Flush models feature a 5/8" lip around the unit that is designed to be flushmount. With Wall/Ceiling Vents, mounts, and niches, the Flush model can be mudded into drywall/sheetrock, or, depending on the model, installed before granite or tiling. With Floor Vents, a Flush model must be installed at the subfloor stage, with flooring installed overtop.
Airflow
Fittes offers a variety of vent models for Wall/Ceiling and Floor, designed to cover the needs of all kinds of residential HVAC systems!
Our vents have channels between the center tray and base that direct airflow:
Single-Channel: Our standard, original collection has one airflow passage. This includes all Luxe and Lite models of Wall/Ceiling and Floor Vents.
Double-Channel: Our plus (+) airflow collection, which features two passages for increased airflow. This includes all Luxe+ and Lite+ models of Wall/Ceiling and Floor Vents. In some models and sizes, this contributes to up to 50% more airflow compared to the same size of the standard airflow model. This collection may be recommended by your HVAC specialist for enhanced performance that you HVAC system may need.
You can also compare between different models based on your HVAC needs here.
You can also reference the airflow specs of our vents by model and size here.
Built-in Dampers
Luxe & Luxe+ products come with built-in dampers, giving you built-in control over air flow. Lite & Lite+ products do not include built-in dampers.
Need airflow control with Lite or Lite+? Just add our Lite Damper — it’s easy to install and available in multiple sizes to match your vent.
Yes, the Lite Damper is compatible with Lite+ vents — just make sure to choose the matching size and add it to the back of the vent before installation!
